Intro: Image creative photographers that tell stories

This selection of photographers are vision guides. Like the Native American Code talkers. Each photographer a story teller in there own right. Jeanne Wells, Machele Randell, Carla Broekhuizen, Victor Lopez, Carline Van Der Beek, Pauline Dekker, Marlines Deen, Fenke de Wit and Nico Brons all bring unique life encounters and skills to enhance their Vision. For this rotating group of story tells, life is not about cool pictures, but about the heart strings which reflect the many wishes and uncovered love ad respect of life, people and the environment we walk upon.

It is nice to be free from the deals done behind doors by ad and stock editors helping their committed darlings with back door assignments.

When the truth is finished and mediocre rules the page the camera talkers will still be nourishing the souls of many giving natural real encounters of visions and fantasies people cross somewhere in their lives between a simple walk in a part, a travel story encounter, or during one's sojourn.

Each photographer self assignments are thought provoking and fits in the media world.

Jeanne Wells

I am from Portland Maine. Born & raised in this state, and always a child of the woods and the sea. These are the things that inspire me and remind me of the divine -- nature's minutiae which is so often overlooked -- and perhaps they are the things which make me able to express the divine?

There is a line from Rumi: "Let the Beauty we love be what we do."    I think that may be one of the impulses that drives me. My most valuable tool is the question, "What if?"  It causes all sorts of accidents and mistakes that make new work come out of my darkroom sessions

I am a Painter who experiments with photography. I am not a photographer but am learning to appreciate the photographic image and its power
The fleeting moments, the spaces in between a breath, the glimpses of the sublime are what draws me in. The intimate in the earthy and sensual realms, the intake of air and the expulsion of a sigh are what sustains me.

From the mundane to the sublime
From the earthy to the erotic
From the emotive to the joyful
From the funny to the absurd

Fragments of the world which mesh together to create an individual vision unique to each viewer

I am eternally searching for my drishti

If we stop what we are doing and ponder on a setting sun. Will it be enough to give us answers. For centuries behind different mile stone phenomas we have gazed at the happening, the moments in nature. witnessed life.

If we are fortunate as artists It would be wise to stop chasing the shadow of the sun for answers.

It's clear to me that the gifted artists are the Gurus of the meaning drishti. From their art they create images so spell binding that we stop all things and focus on the moment and recall, and if we can not recall we desire. Michele Randell is a master, and even though she still seeks I think it is safe to say she has found the gate way and crossed the threshold on a journey that send images into our subconscious so fast we freeze in time and can only describe the moment as if it was vapors rising from our coffee cup while giving warmth to a winter morn window as we watch the vapors dance and play with your mind till our coffee becomes temper in the the vortex of time while we are standing still.

All my live I have been doing some kind of art. Painting, sculpting, I have tried every discipline there is. In 2003 I started digital photography and I never stopped since. By now, I am also  addicted  film photography, Polaroid, Holga, Lomo, Niclack, all very interesting to me and has a place in getting the right story across.

I love experimenting a find new media worlds to communicate in with photography. strange things with camera's and images.

I am currently working on a big photographic project with photographer Rutger Burger. I have no idea on the dead line of the project.

The surreal world is my world. I love fairytales but translate them to my world. The great thing in digital photography is that I can create the world the way I see it. I don't think a lifetime is enough to show everything, maby I have to come back after I am gone and pick up from where I left.

My eyes are my vision.

I am by nature and editor In editing I have fallen in love with photography. In the art of editing you see how you can tell a story you intend and keeping the pictures visually tell your story idea.

My philosophy about shooting a picture is to recognize that each image is not like the other and that each image requires a unique approach to tell that one story at that one moment in time.

There are five photographers I admire. They are Gary Land, Dave Hill, Mike Trobee, Drezj Dragan, and my great friend Brendan the cleric.

Thank you for visiting my images.

Victor Manuel Lopez

Victor Lopez has many sides as a photographer. HIs balanced views are editorials concerning what we all endure and try not for think of in our current life span.

One can interpret from Lopez's pictures that from our innocents we all become victims in the turmoil of civilization. As a photographer. Mr Lopez editing background touches us with a journey of social events tied with snippets of photo illustrations that editorializes the story of the innocents of a child to the political torment an adult might endure. In the end we are reminded in everyone's life and time we are all related to the level of pain and anguish one might endure.

As a native of Holland, pictorial paintings have open the door into photography. I am truly inspired from the root of art which has given birth to photography and now digital photography.

As a teacher of photography, My obsession is my one joy and way of life.

My photography covers Portraits, Travel, abounded building, and detailed objects.

I prefer shooting in natural light. Understanding the emotions which are there to be captured are important to me. They are the nucleus from where I begin my creativity in photoshop. Finding my interpretation comes to life to tell my story in that body of work.

I hope you enjoy these few images. In a few month I will have my own website functioning. Until then I am here and at www.focusgallery.nl.

I would like to thank Glenn Capers for giving the opportunity to show a few of my images on his site glenncaperscom.

I am attracted to people living their everyday life along with how they respect and get involved in festivals the highlight special times in their culture. Seeing life not posed in my camera allows my documentary style to forget where you are and bring you into the world of the host as a member of the community.
My greatest inspiration is my oldest son with Down's Syndrome and his friends. I want for the world to see them as they are, extraordinary and 'living life to the max'

Femke de Wit

Four years ago I started with photograph. Before that time I painted acquarel. I only take B&W pictures and I'm a member of the B&W fotogroup W-Brabant of the Fotobond.

Femke de Wit has reached a point in her visual art where she can see into the moments we call milestones in relation to human relationships past.

There comes a time in life where we question and recall the may momens of life we took for granted.. Here, Femke de Wit turns her lens into the light, opens the shadows and looks into the falling light and brings us face to face with one of the most important reaities of memory and recall.

Watching her images you will learn the meaning of endearment to people places and things once related to someone you cared about.

Since I was 15 years old, I took my camera with me everywhere I went.
But in my opinion I only started in 2004 to take pictures seriously. The
digital era offers unlimited creative possibilities to me. Photography
became a passion. I also discovered that photography is connecting
people irrespectively of origin or philosophy of life. I find this
beautiful and it makes me happy.
I like many subjects, in fact everything that I find interesting and
beautiful. People and their daily life, emotions, nature, landscapes and
abstract subjects are my main interest though. My images may tell a
story, express emotions, make someone happy, may have a dark 'feel' or
just be nice.
I make pictures mainly for myself, but it is - of course! - satisfactory
if other people appreciate my work.
My spirit sees through my eye

Jeannette Cramwinckel

I'm no artist, just a linguist who likes to take pictures. No philosophy whatsoever in doing photography. Enjoying it it though to the external kind.
Best regards

Jeanetta

Jeannette brings the connection to the land as places seen and recalled in a day. SHe is just a linguistician: In the structure of words and tones we all learn to form a feeling and relation to to things we see It is formed in language. Consciously or unconsciously words are put together to express a thought. In the moment of thought was associate emotion. The beauty of her work releases us into a private world that is not iconic, but rather warm and comforting. She explores what we have forgotten to look at in the day or on holiday.. Jeannette tells a story with her camera that says we all have the same concerns.
